You probably couldn't even pay me to go to the beach on a hot summer day lol. If I was forced at gunpoint, I guess I'd probably hide in the water, desperately trying not to overheat *too* excessively. Where's the stock photo of a person standing directly in the airflow of a split system air conditioner??

I prefer sitcoms that make sense and none of the junk on regular and special TV can do this except smart ones like Big Bang Theory. I prefer retroTV series and sitcoms. The one that is running away with the ratings is Everybody Loves Raymond because it is set in Long Island, an area of NYC always ignored as a sitcom site. Features a cop who is not overly aggressive and is a NYC PD lieutenant who still drives a patrol car with a sergeant partner. The reason this TV show created by a stand up comedian (Ray Romano) is not re Spanish speakers but Italians, Irish and Welsh. It is on several networks- NBC, TV Park, IFC and ME-TV the latter being where I first found this gem which pulls no punches and although a Catholic series was also banned by the Pope! And this sitcom's meeting place is a pizza parlor Nemo's which has a picture of the Pope on the wall! Similar to Seinfeld, Raymond's creator is not still a stand-up comic. He is a sports columnist for the NY News newspaper and in his very first column, after crediting his Barone clan of Italians for his success, h proposes to his GF Debra Whelan at the bottom of his column! His father got to the paper first and then his Mama and older brother the cop (still a sergeant then) before Debra got to read it. This series uses flashbacks in a good way- there are only 4 in its 9 seasons' run and ends the series on an upscale note not really ending the series and now word is out that they may soon continue the series. Oh and since the Lucy shows, Raymond is the very first sitcom to have the stars' kids- a daughter and twin boys (3 in all) all being siblings in real life! I never ever miss this series which is on 6 nights a week with a Sunday marathon on TV Park network. The only retro series that comes close to this schedule is MASH.

I was told by a Security advisor never to put 'Welcome' signs around my house. Robbers will choose you as an easy target.

#1 Hopefully the one with the least stairs to climb. I'm too old for this kind of exploration.

The one with the handle. But it has to be Canadian Iced Tea, not the yuck they drink in the United States.
